Bringing Together Founders and Managers

The "Beam me up, Fraunhofer!" project is part of the "Fraunhofer Fosters Management (FFM)" initiative. The aim is to bring together founders and managers. The FFM initiative has been launched by Fraunhofer already four years ago. During this period, a number of managers could be placed in Fraunhofer spin-offs.

The "Beam me up, Fraunhofer!" project now is to give access to the possibilities of FFM to a wider circle of managers. To achieve this aim, different public relations measures and social media campaigns have been initiated; different networks have been addressed directly. In addition, Fraunhofer Venture puts a stronger focus on the network idea than before.

The "Fraunhofer Fosters Management (FFM)" initiative is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.

"With business management support, the founders are able to focus on improving and developing their technology. This way it is possible to tap the full potential of all employees and to really work efficiently," explains Dr. Volker Kuppelwieser, responsible for "Fraunhofer Fosters Management (FFM)", an initiative of Fraunhofer Venture and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. The "Beam me up, Fraunhofer!" campaign is part of FFM.
